An Open Letter

Indeed God has blessed us with different talents and skills and I am willing to help you in your Christian walk.

God has a plan for you; He knows what is best for you. Persecution comes in all sorts and forms. The devil is always ready to say, "Give up and quit." Oh! How many times the devil has tempted me to end my life as it is worthless. No one cares.

But God always reminds me of what Paul went through when he was spreading the gospel. Paul is my mentor. He was beaten 14 lashes, ship wrecked, stoned, homeless, no food or water, but he perservered in the strength of the Lord.

He could have easily said "I throw in the towel." Did he see immediate tangible results? No. That is exactly what you are facing now: I do all this work and I don't feel that it is impacting anyone.

Look at this way: God planted you there to be a witness for His kingdom. Yes, the Christian walk is very difficult if you try things on your own strength. Turn in the keys of your life to God, and surrender your life to Him, and say, "Lord take it all." I was a stubborn, obnoxious ox before I knew the Lord. I turned myself in and said Lord let thy will be done in my life. He has blessed me to be a blessing to you.

I can point out many ways that God is very keenly watching you and mindful of you. Whenever the devil tells you to throw in the towel and quit, keep praising and thanking God for what he has done in and through your life. Praise God that He has given you a friend who can help you and guide your in you walk with the Lord. I will never ever give up on you.

Mediate on this verse:

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure pressed down, shaken together, running over, shall they give into your bosom.

Quote:

The generous man is the mighty man of prayer. The stingy man is the powerless man of prayer.

I hope these words are comforting and encouraging.

Sam
