Been a wanderer, homeless, trying to put pieces together but can't just figure out why pieces don't fit. They tried to make it fit with the famous statement "it will work itself out." No, they were wrong, and so are you.
Just keep walking on, alms are not needed. If life does not treat you well why do you need alms, why do you need a place to sleep, why, why, why?
Been here for forty years, seen a score of people say the same old words of discouragement, "everything will be alright one day." Maybe for you.
The sun rises for the good and bad, God is merciful to all, and pain is part of the package. Pain sticks to you when you step out to this world and never leaves you, but interestingly keeps on adding like a rolling mass. When is it going to stop?
"Everything will be alright one day."
"It will work itself out."
Temporary tranquilizers for a broken and shipped wrecked soul.
I'm sailing home.
